Why AMEST-IMS? IFAC Joint Workshops AMEST–IMS 2027 will bring the international community together in Seville

Seville will host the IFAC Joint Workshops AMEST–IMS 2027 from 7 to 9 April, bringing together researchers, academics and industry professionals to exchange knowledge and explore the future of maintenance engineering and intelligent manufacturing.

The joint workshops will provide an international forum for presenting new research, discussing emerging technologies and sharing practical experiences in the fields of Advanced Maintenance Engineering, Services and Technology (AMEST) and Intelligent Manufacturing Systems (IMS).

Over three days, participants will have the opportunity to explore current challenges and new approaches related to digital transformation, artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, asset management, automation and advanced maintenance.

The combination of AMEST and IMS in a single event will also encourage dialogue between two closely connected research communities, creating new opportunities for collaboration between academia and industry.

Hosted in Seville, the 2027 edition aims to offer not only a stimulating scientific programme, but also an environment where participants can meet, exchange ideas and establish new international connections.
